STATS: Quinton de Kock beats Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar's record

Hashim Amla scored 127 runs in the 3rd ODI against England. It was his 7th score of 125 or more in ODIs -- joint highest for South Africa with AB de Villiers.

Quinton de Kock has also become the youngest batsman to score 10 ODI centuries.

The youngest batsman to achieve 10 ODI centuries before de Kock was Virat Kohli, who was 23 years and 129 days old when he reached the milestone. Sachin Tendulkar did so at the age of 23 years and 234 days.

This is the third ODI series in which Quinton de Kock has scored two or more centuries. His aggregate of 295 in the first three innings of the series is already the second highest by a South African batsman against England in a bilateral series of five or fewer ODIs.

Quinton de Kock has completed 10 centuries in ODIs.

Quinton de Kock took just 55 innings to get 10 hundreds in ODIs.

The record for fewest innings to complete 10 ODI centuries was previously held by de Kock’s opening partner, Hashim Amla, who got there in 57 innings. Virat Kohli completed 10 centuries in 80 innings while former West Indies opener Gordon Greenidge took 99 innings.

Quinton de Kock is just 23 years and 54 days old.
