SL vs IRE: Sri Lankan Spinner Prabath Jayasuriya Breaks 71-Year-Old Test Record
Jayasuriya picked his 50th Test wicket playing his 7th Test to surpass West Indies' Alf Valentine.

Valentine, who made his debut for West Indies in 1950, picked his 50th wicket during WI vs AUS 4th Test in 1951/52, playing only in his eighth match. Valentine's record lasted for more than 71 years.
Sri Lankan spinner Jayasuriya also became the equal-second fastest overall to reach 50-wicket mark along with South Africa's Vernon Philander (50 wickets in seven Tests in 2012) and England's Tom Richardson (50 wickets in seven Tests in 1896) of England.
Jayasuriya has picked up five wickets in an innings six times including 5/174 in Ireland's first innings of the second Test in Galle.
Ireland put up a brave fight but the Sri Lankans came out on top with flying colors to win 2nd Test by an innings and 10 runs, sealing the two-match series 2-0.
