It was more of a precautionary measure than a serious injury that forced Kumar to sit out from the last three games and Kumar is fit to play Sunrisers next match against Delhi Daredevils at Hyderabad.

However, Kumar’s comeback may create a welcome headache selection for the Hyderabad based franchise.
In Kumar’s absence, the likes of Sidharth Kaul, Sandeep Sharma and Basil Thampi have been doing a fine job and any one of these promising youngsters will have to sit out if Kumar has to come into the side.
However, their most experienced pacer’s absence has not affected their performance. Sunrisers defended three low totals in their last three games without Kumar.
In the lead-up to the eleventh edition of the IPL, Sunrisers Hyderbad had their hopes pinned on two of their retentions – David Warner and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
But if reports are to be believed then Sunrisers, who have won six of their eight games, are set to get the services of Bhuvenshwar Kumar from the next game.
Halfway through the league, they seem to be doing just fine without the services of both the stalwarts.
While Warner was banned from this year’s IPL for his role in ball-tampering in the Cape Town Test, Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been sitting out of the playing XI for the last few matches.
Sunrisers authority have been tightlipped about Bhuvneshwar’s condition, it has been learnt the right-arm seamer has been nursing a back injury for the past one week, which has forced him to sit out from Sunrisers’ last three outings.
