Raina, Yusuf, Samson and a host of others register for TNPL

TNCA are confident that all the outstation players will be allowed to take part in the league.

However, it is still unclear whether the BCCI will allow all these outstation cricketers to take part in the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association’s venture.

“As a player, we want to play wherever we get chance. There is no cricket happening in month of July. So, in order to gain some match practice, I thought to play TNPL. It’s is a good league and there is some good talent playing there. Fast bowler Ashoke Dinda and leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal are the other India internationals to have registered as outstation players.

Apart from them a host of other renowned IPL names like Manan Vohra, Sandeep Sharma want to be a part of TNPL 2.

BCCI gave a clear indication by picking a full strength squad for the West Indies tour barring Rohit Sharma and Jaspirt Bumrah. The duo has been rested. Rishab Pant and Kuldeep Yadav made their way into squad.
