Suresh Raina could return for Australia T20 series

The swashbuckling left-hander last played his ODI game for India in 2015.

The 30-year-old was widely expected to earn a call for the ODI and T20 series against Sri Lanka but lost his position to Manish Pandey.

The former Chennai Super Kings star has been working hard on his fitness and is expecting a call to represent India against Australia

T20 specialist Suresh Raina could make a comeback in the Indian side.

Raina last featured for India in February 2017 during a T20 match against England in Bengaluru.

He scored 63 runs before heading for IPL with Gujarat Lions, where he managed 422 in 14 appearances for the IPL franchise.

India will play 3-match series which begins on 7 October in Ranchi
