According to local media reports in Pakistan, PCB chairman Zaka Ashraf had a phone conversation with Fakhar Zaman to express his gratitude and appreciation for Zaman's courageous innings against the Black Caps.
Fakhar Zaman's remarkable innings saw him finish unbeaten with an impressive score of 126 runs from 81 balls, during which he hit eight boundaries and sent the ball over the boundary rope for 11 sixes.
Batting first, a ton from Rachin Ravindra and Kane Williamson's 79-ball 95 helped New Zealand post 401/6 on the scoreboard. In reply, Zaman led Pakistan's charge, bringing up a century off just 63 balls.
