After dismantling Pakistan's batting lineup for a mere 146 runs in the second innings, Bangladesh easily chased down the 30-run target to secure a commanding 10-wicket win.

In PAK vs BAN 1st Test, Shakib Al Hasan claimed five wickets, becoming the highest wicket-taker among left-arm spinners in international cricket.

The Bangladeshi all-rounder now boasts 707 international wickets, surpassing former New Zealand player Daniel Vettori's tally of 705 wickets.

The top five highest wicket-takers among left-arm spinners in international cricket are led by Shakib Al Hasan with 707 wickets in 444 matches, followed closely by Daniel Vettori, who has 705 wickets in 442 matches. Ravindra Jadeja holds the third spot with 568 wickets in 343 matches, while Rangana Herath is fourth with 525 wickets in 181 matches. Sanath Jayasuriya rounds out the list with 440 wickets in 586 matches.

Shakib Al Hasan is set to feature in the second and final Test match of the PAK vs BAN series, which begins on August 30.
