Now according to a report in a news daily, the middle order batsman is all set to fly to Australia for surgery on his hamstring.
BCCI who has each and every player insured will pay the bills for Jadhav’s injury.
Jadhav has had a bitter relation with injuries which on multiple occasions have ruined his playing chances for the national team. Jadhav before this got injured just before the home ODI series against Sri Lanka but was declared fit for the South Africa series.
After his return from South Africa, Kedar didn’t play for Maharashtra in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and spent time in National Cricket Academy (NCA) so as to prevent himself from any injury.
One win in the remaining four league games will ensure CSK’s qualification for the play-offs of IPL 2018.
With 7 wins in 10 games played so far, Chennai Super Kings are comfortably placed at the second spot in the points table.
But apart from on-field performance, a key member of the Chennai squad is facing troubled times.
The kind of form CSK has been this season along with ‘Captain Cool’ MS Dhoni at his peak, qualification for the play-offs is not going to be an issue for the team.
