Rishabh Pant's Return To Competitive Cricket CONFIRMED!
Team India's star wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant isn't much far away from making his much-awaited comeback to competitive cricket.
A video has gone viral on social media in which Rishabh Pant was seen attending Delhi Capitals' camp in Kolkata.
Delhi Capitals' director of cricket, Sourav Ganguly, exclusively told IndiaToday that Rishabh Pant will play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.
“Rishabh Pant is in good shape. He will play from next season. He will not practice now. He is here till 11th November. We had a discussion about the team with Pant as he is the captain of the team, considering the upcoming auctions,” Ganguly was quoted as saying to IndiaToday.
Rishabh Pant hasn't played any form of competitive cricket after he was involved in a serious road accident in December, last year.
Rishabh Pant sustained some serious injuries to his knee and was bed-ridden for over two months.
Rishabh Pant started his rehabilitation at Bengaluru's National Cricket Academy in June 2023 and later in August, he was spotted batting during a local match in Bengaluru
