Team India opener Shubman Gill was spotted in a picture with friends during his vacation in London. His last on-field appearance was in the final of the 2023 World Cup, where India faced a disappointing defeat against Australia.

Shubman Gill entered ODI World Cup with high expectations, but he faced setbacks, missing a couple of matches due to dengue initially. Despite this, the young player made a strong impact, featuring in nine matches and scoring 354 runs at an average of 44.50, which included four half-centuries.

While supporting Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in the top order, Shubman Gill contributed well but didn't manage to deliver match-winning innings consistently.
