ICC Test Rankings: India Lose 'Top Spot'

Australia surpassed India to claim the No.1 position in the ICC Test rankings with 118 rating points, while India trails closely with 117 points.

In the current ICC Test rankings, England holds the third position, South Africa is in fourth place, and New Zealand maintains its fifth-place standing.

Pakistan, who are about to face a shamblic 0-3 series defeat in Australia, currently occupy the 6th position in ICC Test rankings.

Australia recently has been on the rise in Test cricket. The team secured victory in the final of the World Test Championship and successfully defended the Ashes in England.

On Thursday, India defeated Proteas in IND vs SA 2nd Test, making them the first Asian team to win a Test match in Cape Town.

Team India is scheduled to take on England in their next Test assignment, starting from January 25 onwards.
