Rohit Sharma Shares Crucial Update On Hardik Pandya's Injury Ahead Of IND vs SL World Cup Fixture

Hardik Pandya injured himself while bowling in India vs Bangladesh Cricket World Cup match in Pune on October 19.

Team India captain Rohit Sharma, on Wednesday, shared a major update on the current status of Hardik Pandya's recovery.

Rohit Sharma said that Hardik Pandya's condition is being monitored on a day-to-day basis and confirmed that the star all-rounder will miss IND vs SL ODI World Cup fixture.

However, Rohit Sharma didn't confirm the exact date when Hardik Pandya will make his India comeback.

As per ESPNcricinfo, Hardik Pandya is also doubtful for India vs South Africa Cricket World Cup match at Kolkata's Eden Gardens on November 5 as well.

It is still not clear whether Hardik will be available for selection for India's final league game against Netherlands in Bengaluru on November 12.
