Team India management wants Hardik Pandya to attain full fitness before drafting him back in India 11.

Hardik Pandya is on the road to recovery after he suffered a Grade 1 ligament tear in his ankle during IND vs BAN World Cup fixture.

Hardik Pandya missed IND vs NZ World Cup match and will surely miss India's World Cup fixtures vs England and Sri Lanka. 

A senior BCCI official exclusively told InsideSport.com that Hardik Pandya might directly play ODI World Cup 2023 semi-final if India beats England and Sri Lanka.

As per the report, Hardik Pandya is on the road to recovery at National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru, and won't start bowling until next week.

India will square off against England on Sunday (October 29) in Lucknow. A win over England will confirm a semifinal berth for India.
