Taking the relaxation period a step further, former India captain MS Dhoni decided to take an evening nap right in the middle of all the pandemonium.
Dhoni’s ubber cool nap attracted a lot of attention and took the social media by storm.
Some even made memes to describe Dhoni’s action.
Some where as hilarious as this one.
The players however made their way back to the centre after a delay of 35 minutes. The grass embankments surrounding the ground, from where the bottle hiurling started was cleared and it took just 7 more deliveries for India get the remaining 8 runs.(Photo: AP)
The scenes were reminiscent of 1996 World Cup semifinals at the Eden Gardens where India had to forefeit the match against Sri Lanka following crowd trouble.
