Cheteshwar Pujara became only sixth batter in history of Indian cricket to score 19,000 or more runs in first-class cricket.
Ex-India skipper Sunil Gavaskar (25,834 runs from 348 matches) tops the list among Indian batters, followed by Sachin Tendulkar (25,396 runs from 310 games).
Back in February, during IND vs AUS 2nd Test of Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Pujara had joined list of batting greats who have played 100 or more Test matches for team India.
Interestingly, Pujara shared the crease with former Australian captain Steve Smith as well.
