AB de Villiers picks the winner of IPL 2018
“The IPL remains brilliantly unpredictable. However, if forced to make a prediction, I would not be surprised to see SRH, brilliantly led by Kane Williamson, play CSK in the final, and then for yet one more burst of MS Dhoni magic to propel the team in yellow to the title.”

View In AppWhen asked about who the eventual winners will be, de Villiers said that this season's IPL was very unpredictable and that maybe the Yellow Submarine will sail through.
When De Villiers was asked about the team's season, the South African replied that he was not disappointed with the team's performance of this IPL.
“We can have no complaints. It is frustrating to know we would have qualified if we had defeated Rajasthan Royals on Saturday, and at one stage we seemed to be on course for a successful chase, but their spinners halted our march and, in a few hectic overs, our dreams evaporated like the morning mist,” said AB.
They were certainly very dependent on their talismanic batsmen Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers but consistency of both the batsmen was surely missing.
“I have been fortunate to participate in every IPL since the tournament started in 2008 and, in many respects, for me, the 2018 event has been the most enjoyable. The spirit within the RCB squad has been outstanding. In the good moments, and also the difficult moments, players, coaches and staff have stuck together and backed each other, and we have developed a collective will that augurs well for next season”
Lot of speculations are going on with people putting in their money on different teams. But if you ask de Villiers, he has made up his mind on who will win the IPL.
The IPL is near to its climax and in the first qualifier CSK face off against SRH and the eliminator between KRR and RR will take place on Wednesday. The 2nd eliminator takes place on Friday and the all awaited final will be played on 27th.
Royal Challengers Bangalore had yet another dismal IPL season as they ended the season with only six wins out of 14 matches
