Several tourists and commuters were stranded due to a block on the national highway connecting Mandi and Kullu in Himachal Pradesh following a landslide triggered by incessant rainfall. (Source: PTI)

Officials were seen using heavy machinery to clear the highway. Himachal Pradesh’s Disaster Management Principal Secretary Onkar Chand Sharma said six people have died till now, and around 10 people were injured due to heavy rain at several locations in the state.
