The Ahmedabad Sabarmati Riverfront Flower Show, which will be held from January 1, 2023 over ten wonderful days, will reintroduce the perfume of newly blooming flowers and exploding blooms to Ahmedabad. The lovely and enigmatic blooms and foliage will be all around , adding colour and aroma. View In AppAfter a two-year hiatus, the Ahmedabad Flower Show 2023 was officially opened on Saturday at the Sabarmati Riverfront by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. Following the inauguration, the chief minister toured the flower exhibition, which featured a variety of floral creations, including giraffe and elephant sculptures and those depicting the G20, U20, Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Millet Year, yoga, and Barbie dolls, made from both domestic and imported flowers.(Image Source: PTI)
In addition to this, the Flower Show will feature exhibits of different farms and nurseries, horticultural plants, gardening, and kitchen garden flowers and plants. Visitors to the flower display have the opportunity to view approximately 100 different rose varieties from Kashmir and other regions of the nation. Species from Australia, Singapore, and Thailand have also been included, as well as hydrangea, guzmania, anthurium, orchid, Dutch rose, gerbera, and petunia. The event features colourful displays of flower-crafted replicas of various animals and birds, including giraffes, butterflies, deer, flamingos, peacocks, and Mickey Mouse. People can purchase flowering plants, fertiliser, and equipment for horticulture and gardening. Children's painting competitions of all kinds are held to raise their awareness of nature.
