In 2014, upon her father's accession to the throne following her grandfather's abdication, Leonor was bestowed with all the customary titles associated with being the Spanish crown's designated successor. These titles include Princess of Asturias, Princess of Girona, Princess of Viana, Duchess of Montblanc, Countess of Cervera, and Lady of Balaguer.
