Durga Puja 2024: 6 Traditional Ways To Drape Saree For Different Festive Looks
1. Atpoure Saree Drape: The Atpoure saree is a traditional draping style from Bengal, popular in West Bengal and Bangladesh. It features pleats and the pallu on both shoulders, typically in a white saree with a red border. Women of the household often tie keys to the pallu on the right shoulder. View In App2. Madisaru Saree Drape: The Madisaru saree which is also known as the Kosavam saree and is worn by Brahmin women in Tamil Nadu. 5. Nauvari Saree Drape: Another in the list of saree draping styles is Nauvari or Kasta saree which is famous in Maharastra, it's a nine-yard long saree draped in the dhoti style. 6. Seedha Pallu Saree Drape: Seedha Pallu, known as the front pallu, is the most preferred Kanchipuram saree drape from Gujrat. In the Seedha Pallu drape, the pallu is in front of the body.
