The actress recently posted a photoshoot from her collaboration with a brand and her pictures from the shoot has gone viral.
The actor’s photoshoot was for a popular jewellery brand Misho. In the photos, she gives boss lady vibes in a sleek black pantsuit and a short grey hair look and gold statement jewellery including bangles, rings, a chain necklace, a bold kada, and a unique pendant.
Sharing her idea behind the photoshoot and her collaboration she wrote, “ “This April, I’m dripping in MISHO. I took my time to agree to this collaboration, but once Suhani started painting a picture for me - sharing her inspirations and designs and concept - I was sold. Shoot day validated my decision as we spent an effortless evening at the studio, with Tanya behind the lens and a small crew of talented hair and makeup technicians. Suhani, glowing and showing, helmed the production with rare clarity.”
“Then there was the jewellery. At first I wondered if it was all too “edgy” for me. But as I put it on - stacking bangles, donning sunglasses, slipping on rings, clasping pendants - I remembered my own edge and revelled in it. The craftsmanship on the etched pendant and ring took my breath away. But more on that in the next post. So what do I think of MISHO? It’s bold and sophisticated. Two adjectives that I am inordinately fond of,” she added.
In another set of latest pictures posted by the brand, the actor is wearing a white shirt with a few another jewellery pieces including necklace, rings, earrings, bangles and a picture pendant.
Explaining about the jewellery, she wrote, “Suhani tells me that the earliest recorded ‘picture locket’ dates back to the 1500s. You may have seen them in movies, or if you’re lucky, found one amongst your grandparents’ belongings. They were a beautiful way to carry your loved one - parent, sibling, lover, friend, pet - close to your heart. Here is the ‘picture locket’ reinvented and elevated by MISHO. The portraits in the jewellery I’m wearing are not photographs, but etchings and enamel. A technique that I believe is very complex and resilient. Each one opens to reveal your chosen image framed beautifully in gold.”
These pieces were customised for our shoot. I am not likely to ever wear my own imagery, but my sons have claimed these for themselves. They’re calling them keepsakes, but I think what they’re already named is most apt - Mementos. As for my own MISHO Memento, it’s got a special little image you’re unlikely to see on Instagram, she added.
