Pradeep Sarkar Funeral: Deepika Padukone, Vidya Balan, Rani Mukerji, Diya Mirza Pay Last Respects

Several members of the film industry showed up to pay their respects for the filmmaker.

Deepika Padukone also arrived for the late filmmaker's funeral.

Vidya Balan, who worked with Sarkar in his directorial debut 'Parineeta', arrived with husband Siddharth Roy Kapur.

Rani Mukerji, who has worked with the late filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar in Laaga Chunari Mein Daag and Mardaani, was also present for the funeral.

Rani had earlier said in a statement, “I'm very very shocked by the news of Dada's passing away. I, in fact, spoke to him just the other day when I had gone to Amritsar, to the Golden Temple where he had called me telling me about my film so we had a long chat, he was insisting to do a facetime call but that day the network was not good so I was unable to video call with him. We were planning to meet this week when I got back but it is just so unexpected.”

Dia Mirza was also spotted arriving for Pradeep Sarkar’s funeral.

Rhea Chakraborty was also spotted at the funeral.

Actress Rasika Dugal also paid her last respects to the late fimmaker.

Fimmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra and his wife and film critic Anupama Chopra clicked while arriving to pay their condolences.

Television actor Harsh Chhaya was also spotted arriving for the funeral.
