Filmmaker Rohit Shetty Celebrates His 'Singham' Connection On His Birthday

Rohit Shetty is a Hindi-language film director, stunt performer, writer, producer, and television personality.

He is one of the most well-known Hindi cinema directors. Action, humour, and masala films are frequently mixed together in his works.

Rohit Shetty's big break came with the sleeper success Golmaal (2006), the first movie in the comedy franchise starring Ajay Devgn and Arshad Warsi.

Almost eight years since the release of his first action thriller, Zameen, Shetty returned to the action genre with Singham (2011). The movie, which also had Ajay Devgn in the lead role, ended up becoming one of the best earners of the year.

Eventually, the Cop Universe series was expanded with further profitable movies including Singham Returns (2014), Simmba (2018), and Sooryavanshi (2021).

Rohit Shetty along with Police Commissioner of Mumbai, Vivek Phansalkar inaugurated a new police station at Juhu Beach in Mumbai on his 49th birthday.

The director has also contributed towards the making of the police station as a mark of respect to the Mumbai Police.
