Sunny Deol is the elder son of veteran actor Dharmendra with his first wife, Parkash Kaur. Sunny ventured into Bollywood by making his debut opposite Amrita Singh with the 1983 blockbuster ‘Betaab’.

In a career spanning over four decades, Sunny Deol has carved a niche for himself in the industry through his impeccable performances in films like ‘Darr’, ‘Ghayal’, ‘Damini’, among others.

After Amitabh Bachchan, Sunny Deol is often known as the angry young man of Bollywood for his aggressive roles. He has several back-to-back hits to his credit like ‘Lootere’, ‘Darr’, ‘Jeet’, ‘Ghatak’, ‘Border’ and ‘Ziddi’.

Along with being a stellar actor, Sunny Deol is also a doting son, brother and father, essaying all the roles with love and compassion, simultaneously.

His love and adoration for his younger brother and accomplished actor Bobby Deol is absolutely commendable. The Deol brothers share a very strong bond and their camaraderie is evident both on-screen and off-screen.

Sunny and Bobby Deol have acted together in a couple of films. Sunny made his directorial debut with the 1999 film ‘Dillagi’ starring the Deol brothers and Urmila Matondkar in lead roles.
