The 16th season of the renowned reality TV show 'Bigg Boss' ended on Sunday, with rapper MC Stan crowned as the winner. Stan earned a trophy, prize money of over Rs 31 lakh, and a car.

View In AppRapper MC Stan, whose original name is Altaf Shaikh, hails from the slum area of Pune. The rapper calls himself 'basti ka hasti. He made his rapping debut with the song 'Wataa' in 2018.
MC Stan became a Qawwali performer at the age of 12. He also did B-Boying and beat boxing before venturing into rapping. He is a fan of popular rapper Eminem, and thus, chose his stage name as MC Stan after Eminem whose fanbase name is also Stan.
MC Stan wrote his first rap song in 8th standard. He was introduced to rapping by his elder brother. MC Stan listened to popular rappers like Eminem, 50 cent and others.
Given his dedication for rapping, MC Stan also took English lessons to understands the lyrics of the songs by popular rappers. MC Stan wants to become an international artist and make Hindi a global language through his raps.
MC Stan, who started from nothing, now has a collection of accessories that are worth crores. The rapper loves the Hindi-language so much that he has a customised diamond necklace worth Rs 1.5 crores with Hindi written in bold. He flaunted the necklace on the premier night of Bigg Boss 16.
