David was in Mumbai to watch India vs. New Zealand in the World Cup semifinal.

At the celebration at Sonam's Mumbai residence were her friends and family.

Sonam's cousin Shanaya Kapoor and Mohit Marwah also posed with the football star. 

Karisma Kapoor was spotted wearing a traditional attire.

In one of the pictures, she was seen giving Beckham a hug.

David was spotted with Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor in the frame.

Arjun Kapoor, Sonam's other cousin, was also spotted getting to the celebration with his girlfriend, Malaika Arora.

Malaika was dressed in a black skirt and an oversized white shirt, while Arjun was all black.
