The film directed by Abhinay Deo, is a s a modern-day retelling of the tale of Savitri and Satyavan.

The story is adapted from the 2010 American action thriller 'The Next Three Days,' which itself is a remake of the 2008 French thriller 'Pour Elle.'

Set in Liverpool, London, it follows Savi, who lives a happy life with her husband Nakul Sachdeva, and their son. Their peaceful life is shattered when the police arrest Nakul.

This modern Savitri then embarks on a mission to prove her husband's innocence. She is aided by Mr. Paul, played by Anil Kapoor.
