The world welcomed the new year 2021 with open arms and full of positive energy, happily leaving behind the dreadful year 2020.

Ananya Panday and Ishaan Khatter also went for a vacation in the Maldives on the occasion of new year.

Ananya Panday took to her Instagram and shared some dreamy pictures by the sea. She wrote while sharing, “2020 - thank you for the lessons and the love! Loaded with gratitude, love, positivity and peace”.

“Wishing good health, happiness and good vibes to everybody. bring it on 2021”, added the ‘SOTY 2’ actress.

Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday have starred together for the first time in the 2020 movie ‘Khaali Peeli’.

The movie released on the OTT platform Zee Plex and drive-in theatres simultaneously.

The ‘Khaali Peeli’ pair share a cohesive bond both on and off-screen. They keep on getting into witty and friendly banter on social media as well.

Ananya Panday made her debut in the year 2019 with Dharma Productions’ movie ‘Student Of The Year 2’ alongside Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria.

She then went on to star ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ where she shared the screen space with Bhumi Pednekar and Kartik Aaryan.

Ishaan Khatter also took to his official social media account and shared some pictures and wrote, “Choppy waters this year.. but the sun still rose every morning. Here’s sending luck and love to everybody for a more prosperous and happy year”

Both the newbies are avid social media users and have been giving their fans the glimpses from the Maldives vacation from the same location and the same resort.

Many people celebrated the new year by excusing themselves for a vacation in their tight schedules. Bollywood celebrities also ringed in the new year by vacationing at stunning locations.

Ishaan Khatter, on the other hand, bagged his first leading role in Majid Majidi’s drama ‘Beyond The Clouds’ in the year 2017 where he portrayed the role of a drug-dealer. The actor’s first commercial success came with the movie ‘Dhadak’ opposite Janhvi Kapoor.
