The new terminal building at Kanpur Airport's civil enclave incorporates several sustainability features, including a double insulated roofing system, energy-saving canopies, LED lighting, low heat gain double glazing units, rainwater harvesting for groundwater recharge, water treatment and sewage treatment plants, utilization of recycled water for landscaping, and a 100 KWp solar power plant.
