Marcelo 'B-Boy' De Souza Ribeiro, also called the 'most modified man in the world' for his tattoos and body piercings revealed his latest alteration, that involves cutting off his index finger to resemble an "alien devil". Fanged metal teeth, a split tongue and skin implants are a few other modifications that De Souza has done to his body. He also has over 1,500 bizarre tattoos and body art, reported the Daily Mail.

The man has spent an estimated 29,000 pounds ( over Rs 29 lakh) on his transformation to resemble an "alien devil". Ribeiro believes that 98 per cent of his body has been altered.

Previously, the dad of two had split his hand in half claiming to be the world's first such procedure. The latest body modification of amputating his index finger is once again claimed by Ribeiro to have been performed for the first time.

"I'm making a new modification that doesn't exist in the world yet. I was already researching body modifications in the world and from what I saw, no one has yet made a similar one," said Ribeiro to the media house.

"After how I made my hand recently, I found it interesting to do the other one in a different format, which I expect to resemble an alien hand. I got the inspiration after looking at an image of the hand and I wanted to finish mine perfectly so that it looks natural, as if I was born with it in this format," he added.

The procedure for amputing Ribeiro's index finger was analysed for two weeks prior to the surgery by doctors and experts.

The body modification enthusiast is now back to doing day to day activity with his modified hand.

"I'm getting used to it and can move my hand normally. I'm managing to do everything as usual, such as writing, tattooing, and playing the violin," he said.
