A hotel by the name Deep Sleep Hotel has opened in the United Kingdom that allows its guests to sleep 400m, 1,375 vertical feet underground a Victorian mine. Located beneath the mountains of Snowdonia in Wales, the hotel is officially the world's deepest, Metro reported. Opened by the company Go Below, the guests of the hotel must journey down through the abandoned slate mine to reach their accommodation.
There are four private twin-bed cabins and a romantic grotto with a double bed inside the hotel, which can be booked for a Saturday night through to Sunday morning. A single night stay for two in a private cabin will cost approximately Rs 36,000 while the price for two in the Grotto is Rs 57,000, according to the company website.
Meat, vegetarian and vegan are the food options available at the hotel for visitors who can also bring their own food and drinks. Children over the age of 14 years cam accompany adults.

Reaching the hotel is not as comfortable as you may think. Upon arrival at the Tanygrisiau Base, guests have to complete a 45 minute trek up into the mountains that starts at 5 pm. On reaching closer you are given a helmet, light, harness and boots to go inside the world's deepest abandoned slate mine. The decent takes 60 minutes and once complete you'll arrive at the hotel.
''A warm drink and some information will be provided - then it's time to relax for the rest of the evening. We'll provide you with a complimentary expedition-style meal (Meat, Vegan, and Vegetarian options available) to enjoy at our large covered picnic table. Then you are welcome to retire to your bed for a very deep sleep,'' read the information on the hotels website.
