Model Megan Milan was visiting Chia Lai Orchid, a sanctuary in Thailand’s Chiang Mai that rescues elephants, when she had a memorable encounter with a baby elephant. Videos posted by her on Instagram show how the playful elephant, who according to her was three weeks old then, pushes her to the ground and goes on to cuddle her after rolling on top of her.

Megan, a model based in the United States, was in Thailand earlier this month and she shared the videos on June 17 and June 19. The footage has since gone viral.

In the videos, Megan does not look scared and as the baby elephant roaming with a group repeatedly comes up to her and tugs at her skirt. The long skirt gets torn in the process but the model doesn’t look upset over it as she can be heard laughing.

A full-grown jumbo, who was part of the herd, could be later seen coming to her “rescue”.

“Big sis had to come snap on him for playing too much lol,” Megan wrote in a caption with the first video.

With users voicing concern and asking if she was fine, the model said she was not injured. “As you all can see, we were just playing around. This little guy is only three-weeks old,” she posted in the comments section.

"I’m used to being around elephants but I had never been around one so young, he’s only three-weeks-old. So I asked to go see him. He was definitely a little heavy and strong," Megan was quoted as saying in an Independent report.
