The Uttar Pradesh police came to the rescue of a man after he complained of mosquito menace in a hospital in Chandausi. Asad Khan, sought help from UP police after his wife, who was admitted in Hari Prakash Nursing Home after delivering a baby girl was being bitten by mosquitoes.

Khan feared that his newborn would also be bitten by mosquitoes and fall sick. And since it was late night and he was unable to get a mosquito repellent from the market he took to Twitter to seek help from the UP police.

"My wife has given birth to a little angel at Hari Prakash Nursing Home in Chandausi. My wife is suffering from pain and, along with it too many mosquitoes are biting. Please provide me with Mortein coil immediately," wrote Khan and tagged the UP police.

On seeing the tweet, a police team rushed to the hospital with a mosquito repellent coil.

Khan thanked the police for their help and wrote, "I heartily thank the UP Police, Sambhal Police and 112 Police for their help. It was 2.45 a.m and I could not think of anyone else to seek help from other than UP Police."

The UP police also took to Twitter to mention the quick response they made after receiving the complaint.

"Diagnosis From Mafias To Mosquito. In order to provide relief from mosquitoes to his newborn baby and pregnant wife in the nursing home, a person appealed for help by tweeting. #UP112 PRV 3955 took prompt action and delivered mosquito coil to the nursing home," the caption read loosely translated in English.
