An image of a small room, available for rent in Delhi has left social media users shocked. Shared on Reddit, the picture features a small makeshift room in Delhi’s posh Greater Kailash area which is known for big bungalows. The user along with sharing the photo has also asked online users how much rent they will pay for it.
“What’s the max rent you would pay for this kind of place in GK 2?” asked Reddit user ‘supermarketblues’ while sharing a picture of the room.
In the photo one can see a green wall and a small bed with a table fan. An air conditioner is also available in the room. But what looks bizarre and has shocked Reddit users is that the a toilet seat and a bathing space is also present in one corner of the room
Since being shared, the post has garnered more than 1,000 upvotes and a barrage of comments.
"that's a prison with extra space and facilities," commented one user on the post.
"When I had severe diarrhea as a kid, many many years ago, I wished I had a bed right next to my toilet. Looks like my childhood wish was granted to some unfortunate adult in Delhi!," wrote another user.
"Ye studio room hai ya extended bathroom mei bed daal diya? 2k se zada nahi dena.. Isko dekh kar 2k bhi bohot lag raha..," commented a third.
"Sorry but seems a pathetic arrangement. I won’t ever think about living in such a room unless I am on the verge of sleeping on streets," wrote a fourth.
"Looks depressing. If i ever wanted to get rid off somebody i would put them in this room, commented another user.
