Teachers of a government-run school in Bihar's Patna thrashed the principal following an argument, while students stood as mute spectators. The video of the incident has now gone viral on social media.

As per reports, a fight broke out between school principal Kanti Kumari and second-grade teacher Anita Kumari over the closing of a class window after the school was closed. This verbal altercation soon escalated into a full-blown physical fight and the teacher is seen beating up the principal with a slipper.

Another teacher soon joins the fight and is seen pinning down the principal to the ground. While one continues to hit Kumari with a slipper, the other uses a stick. The students can be seen in the video watching the fight through the window of the class room.

Finally, some staffers of the school managed to pull aside the warring teachers.

Block Education Officer, Navesh Kumar, told ANI, "There was some personal enmity between the two, due to which the argument started. We have asked for clarification from both the teachers. Strict actions will be taken against them based on the investigation."

Naresh said the authorities have been apprised of the matter and further action in the matter is awaited.
