People always try to remove the hair growing on the ears by shaving or waxing it but a retired teacher from India refrained from doing so and has set Guinness World Record for unbroken longest-ear hair. The hair sprouting from the centre of his outer ears measures 18.1 centimetres (7.12 inches) at its longest point.

The Guinness World Record shared the information about Victor on Instagram on Thursday and also revealed that he was dubbed as an "ear-haired teacher" by his students.

The caption shared with the post read, "Anthony's unbroken longest ear hair record. India's Anthony Victor, a retired school headmaster, has hair sprouting from the centre of his outer ears that measures 18.1 centimetres (7.12 inches) at its longest point. The record was set in 2007 and remains to this day. Anthony was also known as the "ear-haired teacher" by his pupils."

Nobody since 2007 - when Victor’s record was set - has managed to grow a longer ear hair. The unbeaten 15 years feat earned the schoolteacher a place in the new Guinness World Record 2023 book.

Social media users went into a frenzy and flocked to the comment section to give their opinion on it.

One of the Instagram user wrote, "This is not a record.. most men could manage to do this if their partner blind enough to let them!"

"Why will you leave such hair? Why," wrote another user.

While a third wrote, "I never shave anything in my body but I would certainly shave that."

"What an amazing time to be alive!," wrote a fourth sarcastically.
