New Delhi: The attention Nora Fatehi received for her performance at the FIFA World Cup and at the FIFA Fan Fest elicited a sense of pride among Indians. On Tuesday, Nora moved to the beat of her most recent hits, including ‘Garmi’, ‘Saki Saki’, and ‘Naach Mei Rani’. Nora also showed her support for India by waving the Indian flag and shouting "Jai Hind" during the FIFA World Cup 2022 fan festival.

She took the podium and proudly raised the flag of her own country. This year's festival took place at Doha's Al Bidda Park.

The videos taken during the occasion quickly went viral, and fans gave Nora high acclaim. On the other hand, the longer version of the performance exposed a significant error made by Fatehi, and this has led to a shift in the impression held by internet users.

In the videos that are going around on the internet, Nora can be seen holding the Indian flag in an inverted position, and this has infuriated the internet users. Netizens found her disrespectful.

Nora gets brutally trolled for waving the flag upside down. Moreover, many internet users immediately demanded an apology from the celebrity.

A user wrote, "Learn to hold this beloved National Flag properly and respectfully in your hand." Another wrote, "Tiranga holding in wrong way green colour should not be up ...its orange ...which should be."

Some of Nora’s fans defeated her saying, “U made a honest mistake, we can see your don't mean to hold flag wrong way at all so your mistake should be forgiven.”

Workwise, Nora has recently appeared with Sidharth Malhotra in the song ‘Manike’ from the ‘Thank God’. She also appeared in a music video of the Punjabi song ‘Jehda Nasha’ from Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘An Action Hero’.
