Dogs are considered to be among the smartest animals. They can interpret human emotions, and even pull off crafty tricks. The internet is replete with videos of dogs performing stunts that bring a smile on our faces. A video of a dog jumping rope with its pet parent has gone viral on the internet.


The Guinness World Records (GWR) shared a video of a dog named Balu skipping the rope alongside a man on its Instagram page. The dog and its pet parent Wolfgang Lauenburger together created the world record for the most skips in 30 seconds.


"Most skips by a dog on the hind legs in 30 seconds is 32 by Balu and Wolfgang Lauenburger," the caption of the video shared by the record company read.






In the clip, Balu can be bee seen jumping a rope on its hind legs along with its owner Lauenburger. They completed 32 successful jumps in 30 seconds to achieve the feat. The record was created in Stuckenbrock, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, on 12 July 2022, the record company wrote on its website.


Since being shared, the video has accumulated more than 3,000,000 views and over 25,000 likes.


"This lovely dog it's so cute and congrats to the little world champion," wrote a user on the post.


“Now this is a record,” wrote another user. “This is beautiful,” a third commented.
