New Delhi: A chilling video from Ujjain Railway Station shows a woman narrowly surviving a train accident as she tried to get off the moving train after she throws her children out on the platform. A woman after realising she boarded the wrong train tries to deboard it but before she could get off of it, the train started moving and picking up speed.
The woman first threw out the kids on the platform and then tried to jump off the moving train. In the process, she lost her balance as she didn’t let go of the handle completely of the speeding train and almost slipped under the train. She survived after a GRP officer on the scene pulled quickly came to her rescue.

The quick thinking of the GRP officer helped the woman. Railway police constable Mukesh Kushwaha will be rewarded for his brave act.
"I have given a reward of Rs. 500 at my disposal to the constable instantly. I have asked GRP Inspector Radheyshyam Mahajan to write a recommendation letter for a reward for Kushwaha," GRP Superintendent of Police Nivedita Gupta told PTI.
"A man, his wife and two children had come to the station at around 6:30 AM to board a train to Sehore. The woman boarded the Jaipur-Nagpur train by mistake. She threw her sons aged four and six years onto the platform and then jumped off the moving train," Inspector Mahajan told PTI.
