Wolfgang Lauenburger of Germany has earned a Guinness World Record for teaching his pet pooches how to do the conga. Lauenburger and his pack of 14 dogs named Emma, Filou, Fin, Simon, Susy, Maya, Ulf, Speck, Bibi, Katie, Jennifer, Elvis, Charly and Cathy broke the record set by his daughter Alexa, who achieved the feat with nine dogs in February 2022.
The conga is a Latin American dance in which one person stands behind the other to form a chain.
In the video shared by the Guinness World Record, Lauenburger was seen instructing the dogs to balance their front limbs on the back of the dog that was in front. The pack of 14 dogs had to move at least five metres while maintaining the pose in order to achieve the world record.
