He further said that if Gandhi continues like this, not only North East but Congress will be white-washed from entire country. Exuding confidence on his party, Shah said that in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections the saffron party will win 12 out of 14 seats in Assam and will manage to win over 300 seats.
"North East was once Congress's fortress but despite Rahul Gandhi's yatra, it failed to perform in recent polls," Amit Shah said. He also said, "BJP will win 12 of 14 Lok Sabha seats in Assam and return to power with over 300 seats across India."
Amit Shah Questions Rahul Gandhi On His Patriotism Towards The Country
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday questioned senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's patriotism towards the country during the rally in Assam. Shah said that Rahul Gandhi travels abroad and criticises the country, which no patriot would ever do. Home Minister Shah highlighted the failure of Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra and highlighted the recent defeat of the Congress in the three northeastern states of Tripura, Meghalaya and Nagaland in the recently held Assembly elections.
It is because of Prime Minister Modi that the once trouble torn Northeast saw an end in extremism and experienced development all around. The Union Minister also said that Rahul Gandhi's mother had also done the work of abusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Minister alleged that the Congress is digging the grave of Narendra Modi every day, but the people of the country are praying for Modi's long life. The Home Minister was in Assam to lay the foundation stone of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s district office in Dibrugarh.
