In addition to the Vedic welcome, PM Modi was also greeted in a traditional Aboriginal manner. A minute-long video shared by ANI showcased a man dressed in traditional aboriginal attire performing rituals in front of the leaders of both nations.
Following a series of talks with Australian CEOs, artists, and activists, PM Modi attended cultural programs organized in Sydney as part of the community event. One artist, Danielle Mate, shared her experience of meeting PM Narendra Modi, expressing optimism about improved collaboration between India and Australia in creative fields, particularly in universities. She highlighted the Prime Minister's own creative inclination and emphasized the cultural similarities between the two countries.
Commenting on India's advancements in the field of science, Nobel laureate Brian Paul Schmidt acknowledged India's significant progress and its investment in scientific research and equipment. He praised PM Modi for being a prominent and influential leader in his lifetime, stating that India's capacity to conduct world-class science has increased exponentially.
The visit to Australia marks an important diplomatic engagement for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as he seeks to strengthen bilateral ties and foster cooperation between India and Australia across various sectors.
