New Delhi: In what appeared to be a scene from a Batman movie, a man dressed up like DC superhero Batman was seen riding a batmobile and being chased by cops on the streets of Canada.

The video of the incident has gone viral on social media. It can be seen how the batmobile was chased by lady cop. As the cop reached near the vehicle, ‘Batman’ jumps out of it and starts talking to the cop.

In the latest update to the story, the officer didn’t pull the Dark Knight because of his weird attire or for his unusual batmobile plying on the road, or for breaking any rule, but he was pulled over because the cop wanted to take a selfie with him.

Now, any batman fan would do it. Right?

However the onlookers were totally surprised by this act of the police

As per reports, the man named Stephen Lawrence is popularly known as the Brampton Batman. He was driving home from a car show and felt concerned because many people on the road wanted a picture with him.

As per Toronto Sun, when Lawrence saw the officer, he signalled her to stop and asked for assistance. He asked the cop to escort him for a while. After a while the cop asked Lawrence to stop. When he got out of the car, she reportedly said that she would not miss out a photo opportunity with Batman.

Lawrence is a community figure in Brandon and does charity events.
