New Delhi: The internet is all praises for the protesters in Hong Kong after watching footage of them paving way for an ambulance right through the middle of their protest. A video of their Sunday’s protest is going viral on the internet, when close to two million people came together on Hong Kong’s streets. In an exemplary display of unison and civic sense, a crowd of two million protesters got divided into two parts making a straight passage for an ambulance. The video is earning commendations on the micro-blogging website Twitter. Organisers said some two million people -- more than a quarter of the population -- marched in tropical heat on Sunday calling for the resignation of chief executive Carrie Lam and protesting against a bill that would have allowed extraditions to the Chinese mainland. Hundreds were still blocking a road outside Lam's office on Monday, demanding dialogue with the authorities. The city has witnessed unprecedented scenes with two record-breaking rallies a week apart punctuated by violent clashes between protesters and police armed with tear gas and rubber bullets.
