New Delhi: In an unusual sight, a bride was seen stranded on top of a car in a submerged street after New Jersey’s Bergen County was struck by a fierce flood.

The bride was travelling in car along with her groom and their bridal party friends.

The bride- still in her wedding gown and shoes, popped up through the sunroof, when she was noticed by Bogata police officers who eventually were successful in helping them.

Flood water rose on street along the overflowing Hackensack River which was described as “not a normal flood” by the Bogata polic department.

The cops pulled up in a Humvee alongside the car and helped the bride to step into it from the  car. The bride shed her shoes and climbed out of the sunroof on the top of her car and then she was helped by a cop to get into the Humvee. The groom and the wedding party then followed.
