New Delhi: A video clip of a news blooper has gone viral where a reporter was seen struggling to keep his feet stable while reporting a storm whereas two men easily walked behind him and were seen in the camera.

The clip has generated mixed reactions of viewers with many accusing the journalist of false reporting.

The incident happened during live reporting of the tropical storm Florence which has shaken North Carolina with fierce winds and floods. The journalist, Mike Seidel was doing live coverage of the storm at Wilmington, and was seen struggling to stand on his feet due to strong and fast winds as two men were seen walking without any problem.

People slammed the reporter for misrepresenting the situation and overstating the impact of the storm. Many threatened to sue the channel.

The channel however later clarified that due to ‘exhaustion’ and the difference in the surface, the reporter had to struggle while two men walked casually. As per reports the channel also explained that Seidel was trying to keep his foot on wet grass while the two men walked on concrete surface.
