The team of United States has already reached N Korea to make arrangements for the Summit, Trump announced in a tweet.
The development comes after North Korea asserted that it’s willing to hold talks with the US, when Trump announced to pull out of the summit last week.
Not only the preparations have begun in full swing, but amicable developments between the two leaders can also be noted.
Trump has lauded North Korea by calling it a country with “brilliant potential” which will be a “great economic nation” one day.
Trump tweeted: “Our United States team has arrived in North Korea to make arrangements for the Summit between Kim Jong Un and myself. I truly believe North Korea has brilliant potential and will be a great economic and financial Nation one day. Kim Jong Un agrees with me on this. It will happen!”
Dialogue between US and North has been on an edgy surface since last week.
North Korea had made ‘angry’ comments on CIA chief Mike Pompeo, evoking a furious response from US.
Trump yesterday cancelled his proposed summit meeting in a letter and blamed Pyongyang's "tremendous anger" and "open hostility" for his dramatic decision.
His announcement came hours after North Korea carried out what it said is the demolition of its nuclear test site.
Reacting to Trump's letter, North Korea said it was still willing to talk to the US though the President has cancelled the summit.
"The abrupt announcement of the cancellation of the meeting is unexpected for us and we cannot but find it extremely regrettable," Kim Kye Gwan, North Korea's First Vice Foreign Minister, had said in a statement.
"We again state to the US our willingness to sit face-to-face at any time in any form to resolve the problem," Kim was quoted as saying by the state-run KCNA news agency.
