When he was asked about fears of unrest after the election and whether he would call on supporters to avoid violence. He said, "I don't have to tell them that".

US Republican candidate, Donald Trump, that he would admit defeat, “if it’s a fair election” while he continued to voice concerns about electronic voting machines. According to AFP, he reportedly said, “If I lose an election, if it's a fair election, I would be the first one to acknowledge it... So far I think it's been fair.”

Trump repeated his previous criticism regarding electronic voting machines, he suggested that they were less secure than paper ballots and it would delay the outcome from being revealed.

"They spend all this money on machines... If they would use paper ballots, voter ID, proof of citizenship, and one-day voting, it would all be over by 10 o'clock in the evening. It's crazy," he told reporters in West Palm Beach, he was quoted by AFP.

He said that the paper is watermarked so it is hard to “it’s hard to cheat” and that paper is more “sophisticated” than computers.

When he was asked about fears of unrest after the election and whether he would call on supporters to avoid violence. He said, "I don't have to tell them that, that there'll be no violence. Of course there'll be no violence. My supporters are not violent people".

According to the Associated Press, Republican Donald Trump won the electoral vote tied to Nebraska’s vast, rural 3rd Congressional District on Tuesday. The former president easily defeated Democratic candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris in the state’s most conservative of its three districts, covering 80 counties and two time zones. The district is also one of the most conservative in the country and supported Trump by about 3-to-1 in both 2016 and 2020. The last time the district voted for a Democrat to represent it in the U.S. House was in 1958.

The Associated Press declared Trump the winner at 9:25 pm. (local time)
