New Delhi: At least 9 people have been shot in Philadelphia, United States on Saturday night with two in critical condition, news agency Reuters reported citing the police.
According to Reuters, the violence was reported from Kensington and Allegheny areas. The injured were rushed to a number of hospitals based on the severity of their injuries, the report said citing police sources.

As per the report, multiple shooters exited a vehicle in the Kensington area of the Pennsylvania city and began shooting, firing about 40 shots, Philadelphia First Deputy Police Commissioner John Stanford informed in a televised news briefing.
The injured were talken to hospital, seven of them in stable condition, he said.
