New Delhi: Two Pakistani nationals were nabbed by the Border Security Force personnel in Ferozepur in Punjab on Sunday evening. The two Pakistani nationals were approaching to the Indian side at around 5:10 pm on Sunday, when the Indian security forces caught hold of them.

The two men named Siraj Ahmed and Mumtaz Khan aged 31 and 38 years respectively, were apprehended near the Border Out Post (BOP) in Ferozepur, PTI quoted BSF sources as saying.

Among the items recovered were 2 identity cards of Pakistan Army personnel, 1 Pakistani sim card, four photographs, two mobile phones and some Pakistani currency, reports said.

At around 6:30 pm, the jawans who were deputed near a border pillar in the area observed some suspicious movement from the Pakistani side, the agency reported.  Later, the troops spotted the two Pakistani nationals approaching towards the Indian territory and both were apprehended.


As per reports, the real identity of the duo and the purpose behind their attempt to venture into the Indian territory was being ascertained.
